PLACIDO DOMINGO AS "MARIO CAVARADOSSI"
Contemporary Rome is the setting for this unique and highly innovative version of Puccini’s Tosca, performed in the Roman locations – and at the same times of day – as Puccini had written into his score: in the 16th-century church of Sant’Andrea della Valle at noon, the nearby Palazzo Farnese that evening, and finally at Castel Sant’Angelo early the following morning.
Available as part of 'Placido Domingo: My Greatest Roles, Volume 1 - Puccini' containing:
Tosca, Manon Lescaut, La Fanciulla del West
